Hi, I'm Tristan

I am a passionate educator and scientist dedicated to making complex topics in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics accessible to everyone. My goal with Carmeci Academy is to break down the traditional barriers to learning by providing clear, engaging, and visually rich content. I believe that a deep understanding of science empowers us, and I want to inspire the next generation of innovators, researchers, and thinkers.

My academic journey began with undergraduate work in chemistry, which gave me a strong foundation in the molecular world. I then pursued graduate studies getting a Masters degree in physiology & biophysics, delving into the intricate systems that govern life. Along the way, I took many courses in bioengineering, bridging the gap between theoretical science and practical application. I wish to impart all of myknowledge onto you so that you can make the world a better place—one equation at a time!

I am now a PhD candidate in biochemistry, where I continue to explore the frontiers of science. I specifically work in the field of cryogenic electron tomography in the context of virology. Although my practical expertise is in the life sciences my continued interest in advanced topics in physics and mathematics drives my research. My practical knowledge in these areas allows me to provide a unique and prectical perspective on essoteric topics such as quantum field theory and general relativity. Through Carmeci Academy, I aim to create a community of learners who are not only knowledgeable but also inspired to apply their understanding in meaningful ways.
